The Village Feast

Come to our charming East Village loft to enjoy a vegetarian feast poised to be plentiful, stylish and delicious. Add to that a small gathering of leaders in the local arts, sustainable business and wellness communities, joining you at the table.

The feast is to be cooked by current Bhagavat Life cooking students, adding a distinct element of local love to each dish. And the set-up will be informal and homey, facilitating mingling, dabbling, cross-pollinating, chatting and most of all chewing and savoring.

Our next feast will be in mid-March.  Details coming TBA.  Meanwhile, you can see details of the last one in September 2015.

Featured Guests

Cynthia Salim

Founder, Citizen's Mark | Ethical fashion

It was in Geneva, Switzerland that Cynthia noticed the lack of high quality, professional wear for young women. Having worked in a diplomatic environment at the United Nations and poised to begin a career as a management consultant, she knew full well the challenge of dressing for a job that the fashion industry did not seem to know she and her peers had. From this, the vision emerged to build a clothing line that reflects the values of a socially conscious and empowered generation of women on the rise. Cynthia founded Citizen’s Mark, a company dedicated to this mission, which runs out of New York.
